On Wednesday night, emfluence and our awesome clients scored 11 KCDMA AMBIT Awards for excellence in targeted, measurable marketing — almost three times as many as last year. Plus, each team — email, search and social media — won a Gold in their category! The AMBIT awards are especially meaningful to our team because in addition to being judged on great design/creative, they are heavily scored based on results — right up our alley at emfluence.
Congrats to the emfluence Search Engine Optimization strategy team for winning a Gold AMBIT award for the second year in a row for their work on MIQ Logistics SEO. On top of 378% growth year-over-year in 2012, last year’s SEO tactics grew organic search traffic by an unheard of 645%! The SEO team also took home three 2014 Silver AMBITS for triple-digit year-over-year growth for The Roasterie, Houlihan’s Restaurants and CommunityAmerica Credit Union.
Also, congrats to the emfluence Email Marketing Strategists and our client, Boulevard Brewing Company, on 2 AMBITs in email marketing: a Silver for the Beer Bulletin — a fun spin on an email newsletter — and a Gold for the Boulevard Re-Permission Campaign, which cleaned up an 8-year old list and re-engaged tens of thousands of email subscribers. The team also won Silver for their work on Minsky’s 37th Anniversary Email Campaign and Bronze for the Aristocrat Motors/Mercedes-Benz of KC 1-Question Survey campaign.
Not to be forgotten, this year was the first year that the emfluence Social Media Marketing team took home a Gold AMBIT for their work on client, Hallmark Baby’s campaign, “The Best Part of Being a Mom.” They also scored a Silver for Hallmark Baby’s “Fall Firsts” Campaign and a Bronze for Red Door Grill’s targeted Facebook advertising campaign.
