Project Manager II

Emfluence is seeking a Project Manager II to manage medium to large-sized, moderately complex digital marketing and website development projects. Candidate must have a demonstrated understanding of PMI standards and required knowledge of PM tools, and work with the management team to develop and incorporate project management best practices into the overall methodology. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage project work 
  • Develop and maintain all project related documentation like project scopes, budget, requirements, project timelines, and internal meetings 
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across client strategy, account management, website development, SEM, design and email teams 
  • Analyze stakeholder needs and help propose solutions to business problems  
  • Demonstrate effective planning and stakeholder management  
  • Define and document clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for resources required for specific projects or initiatives  
  • Prepare and manage project budget and timelines based on scope of work, resource requirements and task estimates gathered  
  • Measure and report on project performance  
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of project team members to ensure project progress stays on schedule and within budget 
  • Lead technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects 
  • Serve as escalation point for project issues to internal and external stakeholders  
  • Assist with quality assurance testing  
  • Perform change control procedures  
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution
  • Qualifications: 
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field 
    • 3-5 years of project management experience in marketing 
    • Experience with website development and the full life cycle of website relaunch projects  
    • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline  
    • Proven relationship builder with diverse stakeholder groups  
    • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills  
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency and follow-through  
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and manage multiple projects at once  
    • Ability to hold difficult conversations and manage conflict 
    • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices  
    • Strong analytical skills 
    • Strong interpersonal skills  
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
