Digital Marketing Analyst

We are looking for an experienced marketing analyst to join the team and support our subject matter experts across all digital channels (including SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic Ads, email, and more). As a Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include tracking online marketing trends, collecting and analyzing data, and working with our strategists to develop strategic campaigns.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Set up a tracking mechanism (e.g. event and conversion tracking) on the website and other digital assets such as mobile apps
  • Will manage the third-party team in deployment. This person should be able to identify tracking requirements that align with defined KPIs
  • Set up dashboards and develop reporting models for data presentation to internal teams and client teams in order to drive business decisions
  •  Currently using PowerBI, but may move to other solution in the future (such as Tableau or Data Studio)
  • Conduct competitor analysis and study market trends to develop digital marketing strategies to achieve specific business objectives
  • Test, measure, analyze, and optimize the performance of search, social, content to display across conversion funnels to boost customer engagement and conversions, lower cost of customer acquisition, and increase customer life-time value (LTV)
  • Will work with Subject Matter Experts and strategists to define and execute tests
  • Work closely with in-house teams and maintain client relationships through scheduling regularly meetings to go through reports and provide actionable insights

Required Experience:

  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) – ideal/not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field
    • Open to entry level
  • Experience in statistical models
  • 2-4 years of experience with some/most of the following
    • Data visualization and storytelling using tools such as Google Data Studio, PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, Looker, etc
    • Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and other web analytics platforms
    • Knowledge of digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms
    • Knowledge of data warehousing (Google Big Query, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake) preferred
    • Experience with analytics aggregation platforms like TapClicks, NinjaCat, Improvado, SuperMetrics, etc also beneficial
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and client facing as needed
  • Ability to interpret KPIs into actionable analytics requirements
